Native, Non-Native, & Invasive Plant Species Conversation Series

We often hear that native species are good and non-native species, especially those that are considered to be invasive, are bad. Yet the story about these species is much more complicated and interesting. Some non-native species are still very valuable for pollinators. Some invasives have benefits that could be uplifted, with caution. Those of us whose ancestors migrated to the lands on which we live may have deep connections to invasive plants that originated on another continent. In this conversation series, you will hear a range of perspectives from Botanists and Herbalists to Conservationists and Farmers. They will share their views, experiences, and practices and perhaps some things we have not yet considered. Your expertise is also welcome! Come with an open mind and questions.
